Born and raised in Jamaica, I immigrated to the United States at the age of 12. My early experiences in Jamaica, where my family and community struggled with significant socio-economic disparities and often unaddressed mental health challenges, instilled in me a deep sense of empathy. Motivated by a desire to uplift and empower my community, I pursued a degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have witnessed firsthand the impacts of poverty, depression, and untreated trauma, and I am committed to preventing these issues from continuing to harm individuals and families. Through Embrace Pathways, I aim to provide the same level of support and care that has made a difference in my own life and to contribute to the mental well-being of my communit
