Priscila D.

Clinical Intern - MA

Priscila is currently a student at the University of the Cumberlands, pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She completed her Bachelor’s at Southeastern University in 2017 for Multidisciplinary Studies and Communications. She has experience working with autistic clients as an ABA therapist and has also worked in public schools with kids and teens of all backgrounds. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Priscila moved to Massachusetts as a child and is fluent in both English and Portuguese. She hopes to better incorporate both play and art therapy into her work with clients in the future. Her goal is for every client to feel heard, seen, and understood, as well as share in some laughs along the way.

In her free time, Priscila has started pursuing adult ballet. Her mission is to eventually make it to pointe. She enjoys painting, reading, watching reality TV, hanging out with her cat Kylo, and slowly becoming a runner. She will also mostly likely never say no to a coffee.
