Clinical Intern - MA

Sam is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at William James College. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. He spent time working at Mclean Hospital on an inpatient unit specializing in psychotic and mood disorders. He has experience with crisis intervention and management, de-escalation, and working collaboratively within multidisciplinary treatment teams.

Sam is dedicated to creating a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where clients feel respected, and empowered. He believes in the importance of client agency and strives to support individuals in taking an active role in their own care. His approach emphasizes empathy, genuine connection, and meeting each client where they are.
