
Miguel Angelo Lopes is a recent graduate from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst in May 2025. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences with a minor in Economics. Miguel has always been interested in helping others through volunteering in high school and running an after school program which lead to his interests in Public Health and community health.
Miguel spent his time at UMass Amherst working in Classroom Technology Services, connecting with more people on campus and learning more about new areas. He also worked with the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Reservation as an intern. He applied his education and desire to help by creating community health profiles to bolster community education about flood hazards in different communities in Massachusetts.
Miguel aims to apply those same values and education here at Embrace Pathways, where he hopes to further Embrace’s outreach and help those struggling with mental health or any other services. He hopes to further build the amazing community here at Embrace Pathways and to be a service to others in any way!
Miguel’s life outside of his professional endeavors include lots of sports. Miguel being from Massachusetts he loves many sports such as basketball, lacrosse, but his favorite is soccer. He likes to watch his favorite team every weekend and plays when he can! He also loves to be with his friends and family as well as his two family dogs Duke and Cooper.
