Matt is a clinical intern and a second year student at Suffolk University obtaining his MSMHC. Matt graduated in 2024 from St. Lawrence University with a BA in Philosophy. Matt’s path to the mental health field began with an internship at the Boston Municipal Court probation department where he was introduced to the clinicians who worked in the mental health court session.
During his first year at Suffolk, Matt initiated a research project with the clinical psychology department’s SAHAR lab centered around harm reduction. He also assisted in facilitating NARCAN training through the lab. Alongside school, Matt worked at a community crisis stabilization unit through Eliot Human services, helping to provide care for acute psychiatric patients.
Matt is oriented towards a humanistic and existentialist approach to psychotherapy. He firmly believes in helping enable clients to live a meaningful and purposeful life that is deeply aligned
with their values.
In his free time, Matt enjoys fly fishing, reading and spending time with his family’s pets.
