Crislainy is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern who is passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion, empathy, and respect.

Originally from Brazil, Crislainy earned her degree in Psychology and completed advanced training in Neuropsychology, Social Psychology, and Psychoanalytic Studies. Before beginning her clinical training in Marriage and Family Therapy, Crislainy worked as a Behavior Technician (BT), supporting children with behavioral and developmental needs while collaborating closely with families and multidisciplinary teams. She also worked as a Paraprofessional in an elementary school, providing classroom support and partnering with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote students’ academic, social, and emotional development. These experiences strengthened her understanding of child development, family dynamics, and the importance of collaborative, family-centered care.

Crislainy has a special interest in supporting children, adolescents, and families through challenges related to anxiety, parenting, grief, life transitions, emotional regulation, and relationship dynamics. She strives to create a warm, culturally responsive, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow
