Carolyn Santos is a graduate student in the Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) program at Merrimack College, where she is pursuing her passion for helping others through compassionate and empathetic care. She is currently completing her clinical internship, gaining hands-on experience in the field as she works toward full licensure as a mental health clinician.
Carolyn is deeply committed to creating a safe, supportive space for her clients. She believes in the power of presence—making each individual feel seen, heard, and genuinely understood. Her approach is rooted in empathy; she strives to sit with clients in their emotions, walking alongside them with compassion and without judgment. Known for her kindness, active listening, and nonjudgmental nature, Carolyn fosters trust and connection in her therapeutic relationships. She also values balance and well-being in her own life, regularly practicing hot yoga, Pilates, and expressive art as part of her self-care routine.
