Clinician - MA

Adriana graduated in 2022 with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Merrimack College, and she is pursuing the LMHC license. She studied Logotherapy, which was developed by neurologist and psychiatrist Viktor Frankl and is based on the premise that the primary motivational force of an individual is to find meaning in life. She likes working with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, life transition, and personality disorders. Adriana is focused on providing culturally sensitive, creating a safe, non-judgmental space where individuals can feel comfortable sharing their vulnerable parts of themselves, assisting people in making the most of their own abilities, and empowering them to be the best they can be.

Adriana was born and raised in Brazil, and she has been in the US for over 20, and. Since she moved here in 2000, she has worked in the community as a volunteer within the Brazilian Community in Nashua NH, helping recent immigrant families break down the barriers of being in a new country.

As an immigrant, she has witnessed how disagreements, adversities, and poor communication skills can make starting a new life harder. Adriana has a passion for supporting immigrant families to overcome their fears, anxieties, and disappointments.

Adriana is a native Portuguese speaker and fluent in English and Spanish.
