Julia is a Master of Social Work student at Sacred Heart University who is passionate about creating a warm, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and comfortable being themselves. With a background in child welfare, she is especially interested in working with children, teens, and young adults and helping them build confidence, resilience, and healthy coping skills.
Julia takes a compassionate, collaborative, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. She is interested in incorporating creative and expressive approaches into her work, and exploring a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and other evidence-based practices, to best support each client’s unique needs. She believes therapy should be approachable, genuine, and a space where clients feel safe to reflect, grow, and be themselves.
