Clinical Intern - MA

Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Marta holds a degree in Clinical Psychology (Mental Health) from UVA Barra and a postgraduate certification in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy from PUCRS. She furthered her education with a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from FCU and is currently completing training in the Gottman Method for couples therapy and a course on chemical dependence at FMUSP.

With 15 years of experience as a flight attendant, including 8 years as a team leader for Varig, Marta honed her skills in managing conflicts and addressing diverse needs in challenging environments.

Having lived abroad for several years, Marta deeply understands the challenges of adapting to new cultures and languages. This experience, coupled with her desire to support families, led her to pursue a career in therapy.

Marta is dedicated to helping couples and families identify issues, improve communication, and develop the skills necessary to overcome challenges together. She enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, and is committed to serving those in need.
