As an intern at Embrace Pathways, she is in the final year of her Master’s in Clinical Counseling at Florida Christian University. Her experience extends beyond academia; she brings a wealth of nearly two decades as a police officer in Brazil, where her bravery and determination were pivotal in assisting victims of domestic violence and abuse.
With an initial degree in Law from the Universidade Paulista, Mariluce not only understands the legal complexities but also the human nuances that permeate issues of justice and equality. Her work is enriched by a series of specialized courses in social inclusion and a passion for nurturing the next generation, evidenced by her involvement in children’s ministry within Christian churches.
