Therapeutic Mentor - MA

My journey began at Northshore Community college; I still remember the passion and excitement I felt when attending Introductions to Psychology.

After completing two years at North Shore Community college, I continued my education at Salem State University and received a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Philosophy.

I am highly motivated, and I plan to continue my education for my master’s degree, aiming to become a clinician in the near future.

During my educational journey, I honed my skills as a therapeutic mentor for five years and continued to develop my therapeutic approach.

I use an empathetic approach that focuses on increasing youths’ awareness of personal strengths and personal barriers, to assist with mitigating undesired behaviors.

My expertise focuses on developing boundaries, identifying strengths, and developing self-esteem. Primarily focusing on the development of social/emotional skills, as well as significant life skills.

I am a firm believer in resilience, grit, and determination. I try to practice a simple but effective mindset; gratitude is the right attitude.
