
Erica graduated from BHCC in 2019 with an associate in arts and a focus in children and adolescent psychology. Erica received her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Salem State University in 2021. She is now pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Social work (MSW) from the University of Kentucky.
Erica has worked with diverse clients, including the elderly, children, and families. Today, she provides therapy and counseling services for children, young adults, and individuals using an integrated approach tailored to each client’s unique needs.
Some of her areas of expertise for therapy include play therapy using therapeutic games and interventions for children and adolescents with behavioral and mood issues, such as Anxiety and depression.
Erica believes that change happens when people are given the support to draw on their strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling lives. Erica provides an environment of compassion and support to help individuals overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive. Erica is bilingual in English and Portuguese.
