Edilson, born in Brazil’s vibrant Northeast, discovered his passion for storytelling and communication early in life.
In 2006, he earned a Journalism degree from the Catholic University of Pernambuco, Brazil, and went on to build a dynamic career across television, print, and digital platforms. He worked for some of the most respected media outlets in the country, including Globo TV, the leading broadcast network in Brazil, Record TV, and Diario de Pernambuco, the oldest printed newspaper in Latin America.
Committed to lifelong learning, Edilson has pursued advanced studies in communication, digital media, and business at renowned institutions such as Hyper Island in New York, the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas (with experiences in Miami, Tampa, and Orlando, FL), and IESE Business School in New York City. These programs have broadened his strategic vision and deepened his skills in innovation, leadership, and digital transformation.
In 2024, Edilson embraced a new chapter by moving to the United States. This experience expanded his worldview and sharpened his ability to navigate different languages and cultures with empathy and curiosity. Fluent in Portuguese and
English, he continues to build bridges between communities through communication and content.
Beyond his professional journey, Edilson is an explorer at heart. He finds joy in learning new languages, discovering unfamiliar places, and immersing himself in meaningful conversations. He values authenticity, lifelong learning, and believes in the power of words to transform lives.
Currently, Edilson serves as Recepcionist and IT Assistant at Embrace Pathways, where he brings his organizational skills, creativity, and people-centered approach to support the company’s mission of care and connection.
