Ana Paula Vieira is a Registered Mental Health Counselor who provides compassionate, culturally informed therapy for adolescents, adults, and couples. Fluent in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, she is dedicated to making mental health care accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for individuals and families from diverse backgrounds.

Ana Paula supports clients through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, identity exploration, academic and career stress, relationship and family dynamics, trauma, and major life transitions. She has a warm and collaborative style that helps clients feel understood, supported, and empowered – whether they are seeking help for themselves or a loved one.

With more than two decades of experience working in education and human development, Ana Paula brings a deep understanding of the emotional and academic pressures faced by students, educators, and families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Teaching; dual Master’s degrees – one in Education (M.Ed.) and one in Clinical Mental Health Counseling – and a Specialist degree in Educational Leadership. She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Ana Paula’s therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to each individual. She incorporates evidence-based modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), blended with a trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive lens. She values each client’s story, language, and lived experience, working collaboratively to create a personalized plan for growth and healing.
